The Center Must Hold

Gallery 602 | Kendall College of Art and Design | October, 2019

The Center Must Hold uses abstraction and minimalism to visualize the American two-party political spectrum. The show aims to portray characteristics of the liberal and conservative parties, and show how the two parties interact at center, left/right, and far left/far right. The exhibition levels its commentary with shifts in canvas proportion, area of paint application, and style of paint application.
